STIFF COMPETITION IN URANUS AS WORLD’S TOP-RANKED COMPETITIVE EATERS COMPETE AT FIRST-EVER EATING URANUS FUDGE GALACTIC CHAMPIONSHIP

Competitors from across the globe seek title and $5,000 in prizes at inaugural event

URANUS, MISSOURI, March 14- Mayor of Uranus Louie Keen and Major League Eating have announced the 2024 Inaugural Eating Uranus Fudge Galactic Championship will take place in Uranus March 30th, 2024 beginning at 1:00 p.m.The competition takes place at Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store located at 14400 Highway Z, Saint Robert, Missouri. Event admission is free and open to spectators and the public.

Major League Eating’s biggest stars will shine as they pound down fudge from Uranus. The eater who has chowed down the most chocolate fudge from Uranus in eight minutes will be crowned the Eating Uranus Fudge Galactic Champion. The champion will not only claim the title, but set a new world record and earn $2,500 in cash prizes.

It’s the most delicious fudge in the whole entire galaxy. Uranus Fudge is a thrilling addition to Major League's circuit of sanctioned competitions. Major League Eating’s best competitors will bring their A-game to Missouri to set the first official world record in the discipline,” said Major League Eating host Mike Sullivan.

No stranger to world records himself, Keen noted that the Eating Uranus Fudge competition field holds over 70 world records. He anticipates a stiff competition in Uranus to crown the Eating Uranus Fudge Galactic Champion.

“The Best Fudge comes from Uranus’ is our slogan for a reason” Keen was overheard describing the fudge to tourists. In a later statement, the Mayor said he was “excited to be able to show off Uranus on an international stage through such a great competition and big-name competitors”

● #3-ranked Miki Sudo from Tampa, Fla.
● #4-ranked Nick Wehry from Tampa, Fla.
● #5-ranked James Webb from Sydney, Australia
● #6-ranked Gideon Oji from Morrow, Geo.
